Caring is sharing – Haircuts4Homeless & Yazz

What a fantastic team!

Homeless people have many challenges to face , one of them often being a low self-esteem. A haircut can have a great effect on someone giving them a real boost and is way down the list of priorities for someone who is homeless.

To support the charity Haircuts4Homeless set up by Stewart Roberts veteran Hairdresser members of the Yazz team gave up their day off and volunteered their cutting/barbering skills to the homeless for free. Located at St George’s Crypt Leeds (shelter for homeless) the salon was open. What a huge success the day turned out to be and very heart warming to be able to lift peoples spirits who normally would not experience a haircut.

A huge thank you to Abigail Lawrence and Beck Sornkhankaew from Rawdon Salon, Educator Jennifer Casey from Yazz Hairdressing Academy and salon owner Paul Shakeshaft who made all this happen.
