Paul and our in-salon trainer offered to attend Guiseley School’s mock interview day – designed to give students an insight into the interviewing process. ‘Prospective employers’ are provided with an interview pack which contains the ‘prospective employees’ letter of application and CV along with a list of suggested questions.
Students then have a ‘mock’ interview based on the information they have provided. After the process they are advised how the interview went – area’s which could be improved, areas of strength and general comments and observations the ‘interviewer’ recorded.
This event is very useful for students as it offers them an understanding of what to be prepared for in the future
