It’s worth investing in a good quality hair dryer though, which offers at least a few settings to achieve the look you’re going for. And if you are going to use a hair dryer daily, it’s best to use it on a cold air setting which will lessen damage to the hair. Going for a voluminous look? A De-tangling Comb or Brush – We’ve all been there; chlorine in the gym’s swimming pool and too much sun can wreak havoc on your hair. Tease the hair with the brush, adding volume as you comb in a backwards motion, brushing from ends to roots upwards. A Handful of Hair Ties – Off for a Spot of Summer Sun? Ditch the straighteners and heated appliances and instead work out some cool up-dos before you go.
