Todays venue, Year 10 Careers event at Ralph Thoresby High School in Cookridge, Leeds. A careers advice event to encourage students to develop high aspirations and consider a broad and ambitious range of careers.
Leeds based Hair Salon, Yazz Number One Hair Studio, with 3 salons in Rawdon, Guiseley and Yeadon and a Training Academy in Yeadon, were offering information and guidance to year 10 students along with other local businesses and colleges in the area.
The Yazz Team who consisted of Academy Educator Lisa Sowden, Qualified Stylist Ashley Wallis and Academy Recruiter Carolyn Jacobs were on hand to guide students about the exciting industry of hairdressing and how to become a hairdresser.
Hair demonstrations by Ashley Wallis and Lisa Sowden certainly gave students a flavour of the art of hairdressing!
